Pool Covers and Rollers
Swimming Pool Covers and Rollers
A pool roller is a fantastic way to easily apply and remove your pool cover from the pool surface. Available in a range of different styles to suit all budgets, our pool cover rollers take the hassle out of covering your pool.
All pool rollers also include an overcover, which protects your solar bubble cover while it’s stored on the reel. This helps prevent roller burn and prolongs the life of the material.
Almost all heat loss occurs at the pool surface. Having a pool cover not only dramatically reduces your heat reduction, it also prevents evaporation which will save you costs on your chemicals too.
To keep your swimming pool warmer for longer, we highly recommend using a pool cover. We offer a range of pool covers in a variety of colours, thermal pool covers & automatic pool covers, which are becoming increasingly popular for our customers across The Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Brisbane and Tweed Heads.
It is even more important to have a pool cover if you have a pool heating system. Without a cover, you can lose valuable heat overnight during the cooler months.
Thermal Pool Covers
A thermal pool cover is the perfect choice for heated pools and the most effective option for pool insulation. A thermal pool cover will help retain your pool temperature, reducing heat loss by up to 75%. They also help prevent up to 99% of evaporation and even reduce chemical consumption by half. If you have a heated pool using a heat pump, a thermal cover can also reduce your power bill substantially. Overall, it can reduce your total heating (solar, electric or gas) costs by up to 35%
Manufactured using a double reinforced 4.5mm thick multi-layered construction, the waterproof, closed-cell polyethylene foam gives the blanket its superior thermal resistance qualities. The impermeable base layer provides strong chemical resistance.
Liquid Pool Cover – Do they work?
Yes, here is how.
Keeping the heat in your pool – While not as effective as traditional pool covers, liquid pool covers do provide a measure of heat retention and heat gain.
Water conservation – Liquid solar pool covers prevent evaporation. Less water evaporation means less chemicals and water usage.
Convenience and time cost – This is probably the most attractive factor when it comes to liquid solar pool covers, especially for those with irregular shaped pools.
Are they harmful? Liquid pool covers are perfectly safe to use and are designed to pass through your filter.
Solar Bubble Covers
When using a pool cover, you save water, reduce chemical consumption and make it easier to maintain your pool. Solar covers also have the added benefit of heating your pool.
So the question isn’t “Do I need a pool cover?” but rather, “Which pool cover best suits me?’ A solar cover, which won’t actively heat your pool, or a thermal cover designed to retain warmth?
Save water – Independently tested, and proven to stop up to 99.84% of evaporation.
You’ll swim sooner and longer – Your pool cover will increase the water temperature by up to 8°C, giving you a warmer pool, for longer.
Save on chemicals – Chemical consumption is greatly reduced. We recommend that automated chlorinators be turned down by 50%.
All solar pool covers are specially treated to resist UV damage
Made in Australia – Manufactured from category 4 LDPE, making them completely recyclable!
